Anybody else get anything awesome?

So I played a 4v game with my playgroup today, and I was actually pretty surprised I won. I was using my Sharuum artifact deck, and my opponents had a “give away” deck using Zedruu, a soldier deck with Darien as the general and a life gain deck with Vish Kal. I had a pretty good first few turns and had probably 20 artifacts out by turn like 8 or so. Unfortunately, someone played a command of austere and cleared my field =( but by the end I wound up winning and defeating all three with a combination of Scourglass, Time Sieve, Sharuum, Conjurer’s Closet and Myr Battlesphere. I was quite pleased. Unfortunately, my playgroup will probably disband soon. I have no idea where to even begin looking for a new playgroup. Plus I’m really interested in the new pre-release for Return to Ravnica, but I’m going to let you in on something. Even though I’ve played since Alpha..I’ve NEVER done any kind of tournament…pre-release..nothing. I’ve always been too intimidated to do anything like that. Especially since it’s intimidating to play when I’m use to playing casual with friends, and some people take the game incredibly seriously. I can understand why. That kinda play just isn’t for me. So I’m not sure. That’s also what intimidates me from getting with another playgroup. Learning how a new group plays is another ballfield. I guess I’ll have to see what’s up. If anyone has advice, feel free to give it…

I’m going to merge my two COP blogs into one, with a new name. I’m going to put all Magic happenings here for myself. Anyway, just updating on what my plan was as it’s been awhile.

I totally pulled a Garruk and Snapcaster Mage. Say whaaaat.

Also I was able to finish up my EDH Goblin deck and I must say it’s pretty awesome. I’ll post the decklist soon enough.

I am alive. Thanks for asking. Work has been absolutely insane, Christmas time and my daughter is going to be born in January, so needless to say I’m booked solid. I hope to soon get back to regular updates. All I have is a goblin edh deck I’m working on that will be revealed soon. So stay with me!

Because there’s a LOT of players who have some sort of superiority complex because their deck is bigger than the others. Get over yourselves. It’s a fucking game. I love Magic and everything about it. I just don’t like those assholes who get their parents to buy all their shit and act like they are better than everyone else. Just play the damn game and shut up.
